This project is to install vibration monitoring of the blowers at the wastewater treatment plant (“WWTP”) and the water well, generator and booster pumps at the water plant, for the purpose of early identification of potential areas in need of minor repair, to prevent the need for major repairs. Service is expected to begin by early 2024.
This project includes replacing a pressure control valve and associated piping, installing a flowmeter, replacing the electrical control panels, rerouting the related electrical duct banks, and installing an enclosure with vehicular and pedestrian entry gates. Field work should begin this month, and be completed in mid-to-late spring 2024.
This project involves installation of a permanent generator at the WWTP, along with some additional lighting and other minor upgrades at the WWTP site. Field construction will commence soon and will be completed early 2025.
The Board has awarded a contract for underground utilities (water, sewer, and drainage lines) for the first phase of development for a commercial retail development located north of Via Mazzini and west of Katy Gaston. Construction should begin this month and be completed Q1 2024. Paving and building construction will follow the water, sewer, and drainage construction to complete the overall project.
This project includes repair and rehabilitation of erosion and removal of silt buildup on the channel and side slopes of detention ponds J and N in the northeast portion of Lakes of Bella Terra. Construction was completed Q4 2023.
